Keep a waiting list when your page is full
You can now let visitors join a waiting list once a page hits its registration limit, instead of losing them to a “registration full” message.
The form stays open when the page fills up
Turn on Waiting list under the registration limit on step 4 · Settings of a free page. Once the cap is reached, the form no longer closes: visitors are told the event is full, sign up as usual through a “Join the waiting list” button, and get a confirmation that their place in line is saved.
Promote people as seats free up
A Waiting list view joins the Registrants tab, showing how many people are in line and how many seats are free. Promote a single person, or promote exactly as many as you have seats for, always oldest request first, so nobody is overtaken by a later sign-up.
Promoting while the page is still full registers that person beyond your limit, which the view tells you before you do it. Removing someone from the list puts them in Declined, with a way back into line.
