Preview a page at full size

See the page on the whole screen, at the size visitors read it, without leaving the Design step.
What it’s for
The Design canvas shares the screen with the section panel, so it shows your page narrower than it publishes. “Preview at full size” opens the same page over the whole screen and lets you scroll it top to bottom, which is the honest way to judge a design before you move on.
On step 3 · Design, find the “Preview at full size” button at the top of the canvas, to the right of the device switcher.
Click it. The page fills the screen at its real width and scrolls for its full height, exactly as a visitor’s browser of that size would show it.
Close it with the cross in the top-right corner, or Escape. You are back on the Design step, with the same section selected.
Good to know
- The preview shows the page, it does not edit it: to change something, close it and edit on the canvas.
- For a wider canvas while you keep editing, the button just before it, beside the device switcher, folds the section panel away (“Hide the panel for a full-width preview”). Selecting a section on the canvas unfolds the panel again, and the choice is remembered in this browser.
